Tests for Graduate Programs in the USA

Taking the GRE in Japan

Japan has a total of two testing locations for the GRE. They are in Osaka and Tokyo.
 
Osaka testing location:
Nakatsu Center Bldg, 7F ,1-11-1 Nakatsu Kita-ku Osaka
 
Tokyo testing location:
Ochanomizu Sola City Academia 5F
4-6 Kanda Surugadai, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
 
  • Reservations can be made online or over the phone
    • Reservations here: http://ac.prometric-jp.com/gre/jp/online.html
    • They must be made 4 days prior to the exam date
  • You must be at the testing center 30 minutes before the exam begins
  • The fee for the test is USD $206. Payment is by credit card.

Taking the GMAT in Japan

There are four testing centers for the GMAT in Japan. They are in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.
 
Nagoya testing location:
Nagoya Fushimi Test Center
460-0008 Aichi Nagoya-shi, 10F Fushimi First Bldg, 1-12-10 Sakae, Naka-ku, Oak. Ltd.

Directions:
  1. Get out of the exit no.6 of Fushimi subway station.
  2. Go in the direction of Kanayama along Route 19 (south) about 3 minutes (200m).
  3. Cross the 1st traffic signal (Mitsukura).
  4. The first building (cream color) is the Fushimi First Building where Talkmate English School is located on the 10th floor.
  5. There is a coffee shop named EGRO on the first floor of the Fushimi First Building.

  • The fee for the test is USD $250. Payment is by credit card.

Taking the LSAT in Japan

There are two locations for taking the LSAT in Japan. They are in Tokyo and Kyoto.
 
Tokyo location:
Tokyo, Temple University - Japan Campus
 
Kyoto location:
Kyoto, Doshisha Law School
 
  • Registration is online or by phone.
    • Register here: http://www.lsac.org/jd/lsat/registration-methods
  • The test is administered 4 times a year: in June, September/October, December, and February.
    • The Tokyo location offers all four test dates, however in Kyoto the test can only be taken in September/October.
    • 2017-2018 test dates: 6/25, 9/17, 12/3, 2/11
  • It is recommended you register as soon as possible, as slots fill up fast.
  • The exam fee is USD $180. Payment is by credit card.
