Please join us for our April AJET event in Mino City on April 8! Coming back after 4 years, it’s the Mino City Festival! Up in the Chuno region, the quiet town of Mino is famous for its papercraft. Every spring, the Mino City Festival celebrates the arrival of the cherry blossoms with a small parade and festival! Come on up (or down!) to Mino City to watch a cool piece of Japanese history!
Starts: Saturday, April 8th at 11 am Link: https://minokanko.com/post-3345/ How To Get There From Gifu Station by Bus: Take the B87 bus from Stand 14 to Udatsumachinamidori (1010円) Around an hour and ten minutes. From Gifu Station by Train: Take the Local Train to Mino-Ota Station, and then take the Sightseeing Train Nagaragawa Tetsudo line to Minoshi Station (around 1200円) Around an hour and twenty minutes. All the more appreciative if you bring things to share! Gifu JETs once again had a successful and productive Skills Development Conference!
This conference covered a multitude of topics to equip ALTs with tools to help them both in and out of the classroom. We also shared a fond farewell to many of our graduating JETs, including our ALT PA, Gelo! We look forward to seeing you all again at our next SDC in fall 2023!
